Campaign Three
Overview
Campaign Three is the third game in a series of campaigns run by Gloom. It follows a group of adventurers who have joined the Fourth Act to gain their licenses. The campaign takes place six years after the end of Campaign Two and follows the party as they navigate a world destroyed by the Shattering. Shards of other realities have replaced sections of their own, making the world a dangerously new place.
Players
Gloom — The dungeon master of the campaign.
Hollis — Played Ward, a hobgoblin wizard/bard.
Knight — Played Dorean, a human fighter.
Mia — Played Mira, a human? monk.
Mish — Played Eck, a kobold monk.
Nocti — Played Luna, a half-elf rogue.
Pickle — Played Veracity, a tiefling druid.
Characters
Dorean
Dorean is a human fighter. She was once a soldier, though quit some time around the time of the Shattering. It is known that she was at a point of an Incursion during the events of the Shattering, losing a loved one and, presumably, parts of her body.
Eck
Eck is a kobold ascendant dragon monk. They have been given a mission to visit temples built by a monk, Schvarogk, who had mastered a particular form of martial arts that had allowed him to transform into a dragon.
Luna
Luna is a half-elf swashbuckler rogue from a magic-centric shard. She has lied about her age in order to accomplish a personal mission.
Mira
Mira is a grappler monk who appears to be a human. She is from a shard, but is mostly unaffected by this as she was in space at the time. She almost never speaks and floats at all times.
Vera
Veracity is a tiefling moon druid from somewhere somewhat near Wolis. She is looking for her father, or more specifically the adventurers who intend to kill them.
Ward
Ward is a hobgoblin wizard from the feywild. His home was a victim of the Shattering, and he has devoted his time and energy to figuring out where it went and how to get them back.
Summary
Voldaire
The Fourth Act is in Mograh as a practice run for Kitheroc, both for their performance and to do a test run of breaking into a model vault that is their true target in Kitheroc. The party, assigned as security for the show itself, has a few days to kill while they wait for the nights of the play. They complete a number of jobs from the adventurer's league job board over the course of three days, including locating missing kobolds, freeing a woman from demonic possession, escorting the apothecary, defeating a corpsewillow, and finding hints of backstory along the way. Dorean encounters a woman who is interested in her that she likes back, and the two spend some time together. On the final night of the performance, an Incursion happens, depositing a chunk of a giant space monster almost directly on top of the ship and audience. The party is able to protect everybody from the monsters, and the troupe is able to move on to Kitheroc shortly after.
