Shadow Witch Kiono
The shadow witch Kiono has hired a set of adventurer's to help her raid an angelic fortress with three objectives:
- Sabotage their operations - a materials location on-site should be destroyed, contaminated, or otherwise made unusable.
- Destroy any or all of the three pylons keeping the fortress floating
- Primary objective - assassinate the facility head James Oratio Hayward
Summary
Kiono teleports the group onto the angelic fortress and they begin their mission by going to material storage. As they travel, there are not individuals, but instead creatures partially fused into the walls. They do not seem to be active and will remain so unless their attention is drawn. They reach the material storage without incident, the door opening easily for them. Canisters of bubbly purple goop, mithril ingots waiting for working, hexagonal discs of shimmering rainbow material—prismarite. The purple goop seems to pulsate. It is raw biomass, generic flesh that can be used for anything that needs flesh—there seems to be enough to create at least a small army. They crack open all of the barrels of flesh goo in hopes of contaminating it, steal the prismarite sans frames, and Disintigrate a quarter of the mithril.
They travel between the floatation pylons, solving riddle passwords in order to access the admin panels and setting them to explode one hour and nine minutes later.

They reach the core of the fortress, a new addition to the structure. Standing at a console by the glowing core is Dr. Hayward. He has been watching them as they worked and is thus unsurprised that they are there. He asks who they are, which they refuse to say, and combat begins. Hayward is unaffected by lower level magic and summons some constructs to assist him in "entertaining" his guests. When the killing blow is headed toward Hayward, another figure appears, blocking it entirely. They give the party one opporunity to either take a nonspecific job offer or leave. Myst Blade takes them up on their offer, while Kiono takes Sere and Perseus away.
